Facebook-LESS

I have finally decided to deactivate my facebook account. Since facebook does not delete any of the information that I have put into the account I can reactivate the account once again whenever I want.  According to their terms of service my information will be saved in their system. Please don't quote me on that because I'm kind of lazy to read their terms of service.

I created facebook in 2006 when it was only for college students (which I like by the way) since you had to use an college email address (.edu) in order to activate an account. I had it for a whole year and then I decided to delete the account around 2007.... but when I activated it again a year later the information that I had before were still in the system such as my password, profile information, school, pictures, and of course my list of friends. I was happy that I didn't have to find old friends from high school to see what they were up too, however, I didn't like the fact that the information that I deleted were saved in their systems.

The benefit of having your account "deactivated" is that no one else is able to find your profile. So if a friend has added you on facebook and is looking for your profile, they will probably think  you have deleted them since you are no longer in their network, but if they're smart enough they'll know that you have deleted your account since you CANNOT be found.

I hope that my "friends" wouldn't think that I have deleted my account instead of them thinking I deleted them, which is not a good feeling. Right?

OH, YEAH.... FYI:
I have decided to stay with myspace because it's a great way for me to stay with my friends, but especially with my family. It's a great way for me to be able to show pictures, so I'm not deleting myspace just yet,  there will come a time when I would though........ :)
